Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents. This role is essential in ensuring residents have access to clean linens and personal clothing daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, and fold resident clothing and facility linens
- Distribute clean laundry promptly to resident rooms
- Label resident clothing as needed
- Maintain linen quality and remove damaged or stained items from use
- Follow all infection control and sanitation procedures
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly
- Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and sanitary
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and team-oriented
