Job Details: Job Location: Priest River Mill - Priest River, ID, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $44.00 - $46.00Hourly, Job Shift: Swing, Electrician/Priest RiverStimson Lumber Company in Priest River, Idaho is seeking a Licensed Industrial Electrician who is team-oriented and possess great problem-solving skills. You will execute your role within a group that embraces new ideas, challenges the status quo, and works tirelessly to hone improve our teams’ professional skills. Our electricians provide high-quality results through excellent teamwork and focused execution.   Base Schedule:  Sunday (flexible), Monday – Wednesday noon-10:30 pmResponsibilities and Duties: Provide preventive and predictive maintenance of the electrical distribution system Interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, codes, ordinances and other documentation of equipment and systems within the plant Continuously evaluate and analyze electrical quality and safety processes and procedures Proactively communicate with departments and outside vendors to ensure proper operation and maintenance of systems and equipment Model, implement and comply with company work and safety rules and related industry regulations Safely install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems including components of machinery and equipment Identify new approaches or best-known methods to foster our continuous improvement mentality If you are skilled in PLC Programming, utilize PLC knowledge/troubleshooting skills to assist in designing and repairing electrical systems Qualifications and Skills: A minimum of 5 years industrial electrician maintenance experience (Idaho Electrician License preferred) Proven experience or expertise in the following technical areas: Temposonic linear positions Schematics, understanding and troubleshooting Computer skills, experience with preventive maintenance software preferred Electrical maintenance experience with MCC’s, VFD’s, conveying and hydraulic systems.  Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, codes, ordinances and other documentation of equipment and systems Strong understanding of codes and ordinances Understanding of PLCs with ability to troubleshoot is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Team player and highly self-motivated individual Establish and maintain working relationships with maintenance, production, management and outside electrical vendors Able and willing to work variable schedules, including weekends and overtime Detail oriented with the ability to work independently Demonstrated commitment to safety and attendance Who is Stimson Lumber?Stimson Lumber is a leader in the forest products and natural resources industry, with over 600,000 acres of forest land and six mill locations across Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
