Fairview is looking for a Cook to join our team at our Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton, MN.  The Cook's role is to prepare food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established standards of high quality.

 

Position Details

  • 0.01 FTE (Casual)
  • day/evening shift
  • as needed weekend rotation



Responsibilities

  • Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards.
  • Develops and tests recipes as directed.
  • Completes all documentation related to production
  • Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating procedures
  • Follows employee health guidelines to prevent disease transmission.
  • Follows procedures to prevent food contamination.
  • Coordinates and communicates with all internal customers in all service areas.
  • Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedure.
  • Takes responsibility for self and others in work area.
  • Contributes to a safe work environment
  • Demonstrates Commitment to Customers


Required Qualifications

  • 1 year Relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Certified or willing to become certified for food safety.
