Research Associate (TEMPORARY - part-time, 17.5 hours/week)

Transform findings from a completed research project into a publication for a peer-reviewed journal. This position is ideal for a research professional with strong analytical, writing, and consumer behavior research skills.

What you’ll do in this position:

  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews
  • Analyze and interpret research data
  • Draft scientific manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication
  • Revise manuscripts based on feedback and publication standards
  • Organize research findings, references, and supporting documentation
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and scholarly quality

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least one year of research experience
  • Experience conducting consumer behavior research
  • Strong scientific writing and editing skills
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate research findings
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred

  • Experience preparing research manuscripts for publication
  • Knowledge of peer-review and academic publishing processes

Pay Grade: 46

Typical Starting Pay: $16.50 to $21.25 an hour
