We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Temporary Custodian (PT or FT). The custodian will be responsible for keeping the building and grounds clean. Please note that all applicants must undergo a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as a comprehensive background check. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Regularly sweeps, mops, dusts, and vacuums residential units, offices, hallways, stairs, and restrooms, including conference and break rooms. Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks, mows lawns, trims hedges, removes weeds, rakes leaves, and disposes of yard waste. Performs minor and routine painting and other needed maintenance.   Helps in remodeling all facilities. Notifies supervisor of needed repairs/replacements to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.   Coordinates with the supervisor on supply ordering and restocking SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: Education:   High School diploma or GED required. Experience: Prefer one year of experience providing custodial and maintenance services.       Other:            Valid driver's license and insurability. Basic computer skills are required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift and operate various custodial and maintenance equipment. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, push shovels, stand on ladders, etc. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
