Role Overview:

TheCompliance Executive will be responsible for reviewing accounting transactionsfrom a statutory and regulatory perspective and preparing compliance workingsrequired for statutory filings. The role involves coordinating with internalexpert teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of regulatorycompliances.


KeyResponsibilities

  •  Reviewbooks of accounts prepared by the accounting team to ensure transactions areappropriately captured from a statutory compliance perspective.
  • Identifytransactions that have implications under applicable laws such as Income-tax,TDS, GST, Companies Act, and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Preparestatutory working papers and schedules required for regulatory filingsincluding GST, TDS, Income-tax and other applicable compliances.
  • Performreconciliations and analytical reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy ofdata used for statutory filings.
  • Highlightdiscrepancies, missing information, or potential compliance risks andcoordinate with the accounting team for necessary corrections.
  • Maintainstructured documentation and compliance working files supporting each statutorysubmission.
  • Liaise withinternal expert teams (tax, regulatory, secretarial, etc.) to facilitate timelypreparation and submission of statutory filings.
  • Trackcompliance timelines and ensure that required information and documentation aremade available to the relevant teams within stipulated timelines.
  • Support theteam during audits, assessments, or regulatory reviews by providing necessarydocumentation and reconciliations.
