- Preparation of schematics for control and protection panels, Local Control Cubicles (LCC),interlocking logic, and Substation Automation Systems (SAS).
- Develop associated manufacturing documents and ensure compliance with projectspecifications for high voltage substations.
- Interpret and apply relevant IEC/IEEE standards for both high voltage (HV) and low voltage(LV) switchgear and control gear.
- Proficient in switchgear systems, protection relays, and Bay Control Units (BCUs), includinginterlocking logic design.
- Liaise with site teams and clients to gather design inputs and incorporate into finalengineering documents.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of catalogue items used in LCC, CRP (Control & Relay Panels),and SAS panels.
- Utilize AutoCAD or EPLAN software (preferably version 2.9) for schematic and panel designwork.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of various operating mechanisms for circuit breakers,disconnector switches, and earth switches
Requirements
- Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 4 to 8 years in switchgear industry.
- Technical Skills:o Sound understanding of IEC/IEEE standards.
- Familiarity with protection & control equipment and their logical interfaces.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or EPLAN.
- Soft Skills:o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
