Job Title: Product Associate Intern
Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India
Position Type: Full-time
Experience Level: 0-2 years

About the role

You'll work directly with a Product Manager across a portfolio of enterprise AI and SaaS products, acting as their second pair of hands and second opinion. The work splits roughly across three things: helping shape and run product development, supporting day-to-day product management, and contributing to bids and proposals for public sector and commercial clients.

It's a broad role by design. In a single week you might sit in an architecture discussion, work through a competitor's product, chase a delivery blocker, interview a user, and draft a section of a tender response. It suits someone who'd rather be useful across the whole picture than specialised in one slice of it.

This is an early-career role. We care more about how you think than what you've shipped.

Requirements

What you'll do

Product development

• Turn ideas and requirements into clear, well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications
• Sit in on engineering and architecture discussions, follow the technical reasoning, and capture decisions and their implications
• Track progress, chase dependencies, and surface blockers and risks before they become delivery problems
• Coordinate between engineering, design, QA, and business stakeholders

Product management support

• Gather and synthesise user needs from customers, support channels, delivery teams, and product usage data
• Research the market, competitors, and emerging AI capabilities; assess what's relevant to our products
• Prepare roadmap materials, briefings, and stakeholder updates
• Maintain product documentation, backlogs, and internal knowledge assets

Bid and proposal support

• Contribute to RFP and tender responses: research, requirement mapping, drafting, and evidencing product capability against buyer requirements
• Help maintain a reusable library of product and capability content for bids

What we're looking for

• 0–2 years of experience in a product, analyst, consulting, delivery, or technical role. Internships, side projects, and strong academic work count.
• An analytical mindset: you break problems down, look for evidence, and can tell a real signal from a loud one
• Strong people skills. Much of this job is getting clarity out of busy people across different functions, and being someone they're glad to hear from.
• Technical fluency: you understand APIs, databases, cloud services, and how software is built and deployed. You don't need to code, but you should follow an engineering conversation without needing it translated.
• Fluent use of AI tools in your own work: you use them to research, draft, and analyse faster, and you know where their output needs checking
• Clear, structured writing. A large share of your output is documents other people rely on.
• Comfort with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and holding several threads at once

Nice to have

• Exposure to SaaS or enterprise software products
• Fluency with no-code and prototyping tools: able to build a working mockup or prototype to communicate an idea rather than describe it
• A working grasp of core AI/ML concepts: how models are trained and evaluated, what RAG and fine-tuning are for, where accuracy and reliability limits come from
• Any experience with bids, tenders, or UK public sector procurement

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
  • Generous vacation and paid time off.
  • Company-sponsored training and professional development opportunities.
