| Competencies:(Technical Skill sets) Profi ciency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems Knowledge of microprocessor/microcontroller architecture, hardware basics Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.  Understanding of the structure and acquire expertise in one software area (e.g., RTOS, HMI, PC-based tools, Arduino / Raspberry Pi, etc.) Experience in UML/SysML modeling languages Strong verifi cation, testing, and debugging concepts Hands-on experience with development and debugging tools  Preferred: Experience in Requirements Management / software requirements creation Preferred: product development experience in high-tech / automotive / consumer / industrial domain Preferred: software quality assurance experience Preferred: Experience with methodologies such as lean PD, Agile, OPEX, Design for Safety/Reliability, CMMI |
