Position overview

We are seeking a Tech Solution Architect  – AI & Transformation to advise clients ontechnology-led transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on theapplication of artificial intelligence to enterprise business processes andoperating models.

The role requires a senior technology professional with broadenterprise technology experience, strong understanding of emerging AIcapabilities, and demonstrated experience in technology implementation andconsulting. The individual will work with business and technology stakeholdersto assess current-state environments, understand business processes andtechnology landscapes, identify transformation opportunities, and developpragmatic technology and AI-led solutions.

The successful candidate will combine technology expertise, businessacumen, analytical capability and strong client engagement skills. They shouldbe comfortable operating across business and technology discussions andtranslating complex client challenges into clearly defined opportunities andexecutable solutions.

Key responsibilities

Client advisory andcurrent-state assessment

·        Lead structured discovery andassessment engagements across business processes, technology environments,applications, data and operating models.

·        Develop a comprehensiveunderstanding of client business objectives, operating processes, technologylandscape and strategic priorities.

·        Assess existing technologycapabilities, architectural considerations, data availability, integrationlandscape and implementation constraints.

·        Identify processinefficiencies, technology gaps, operational challenges and areas ofimprovement through stakeholder discussions and structured analysis.

·        Develop a fact-based view ofthe current state and establish the key areas requiring transformation.

AI and technologytransformation

·        Identify and evaluateopportunities for applying AI, GenAI and emerging technologies to enterprisebusiness processes.

·        Assess the suitability ofAI-based approaches against conventional technology, process redesign andautomation alternatives.

·        Develop a practicalunderstanding of AI capabilities including large language models,retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, intelligent automation andAI-enabled workflows.

·        Evaluate AI opportunitiesacross business value, technical feasibility, data readiness, risk, complexityand implementation requirements.

·        Develop transformationhypotheses and opportunity areas aligned to the client's strategic andoperational priorities.

·        Support the development of AIand technology transformation roadmaps and implementation priorities.

Solution architecture andsolution shaping

·        Translate business andtransformation requirements into high-level solution concepts and target-statearchitectures.

·        Define the key technology,data, integration, AI and application components required to support proposedsolutions.

·        Evaluate architectural optionsand articulate relevant technology choices, dependencies and trade-offs.

·        Work closely with engineeringand delivery teams to validate feasibility and develop implementationapproaches.

·        Contribute to solutionestimates, delivery models, implementation roadmaps and technology proposals.

·        Ensure that proposed solutionsare practical, scalable and aligned with the client's existing technologyecosystem.

Client stakeholder management

·        Establish and maintain trustedrelationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.

·        Lead client workshops,discovery sessions, assessments and solution discussions.

·        Engage effectively withtechnology leadership, business leadership, operations teams, architects andengineering stakeholders.

·        Communicate complex technologyand AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·        Present findings,recommendations, solution options and transformation priorities to seniorstakeholders.

·        Demonstrate the ability toconstructively challenge assumptions and facilitate informed clientdecision-making.

Consulting and opportunitydevelopment

·        Support clients in identifyingand prioritizing technology and AI transformation opportunities.

·        Translate identified businesschallenges into well-defined use cases and solution opportunities.

·        Contribute to account strategy,opportunity development, proposals, RFP responses and client presentations.

·        Develop solution narratives andpropositions that connect client priorities with relevant technology and AIcapabilities.

·        Identify opportunities forfurther consulting, assessment and implementation engagements based on clientneeds.

·        Collaborate with sales,consulting, architecture and engineering teams to progress opportunities frominitial discovery through solution definition.

Required experience and qualifications

·        10+ years of relevantexperience in technology consulting, enterprise technology, solutionarchitecture, digital transformation or technology implementation, withsignificant experience working with Banking and Financial Services (BFS)clients.

·        Demonstrated experience workingwith enterprise clients and complex technology environments.

·        Strong understanding of Bankingand Financial Services business processes, operating models and technologyenvironments, with the ability to assess client challenges and identifytechnology and AI-led transformation opportunities across relevant BFS functions.

·        Strong understanding ofenterprise technology domains including application architecture, integration,APIs, cloud platforms, data platforms and enterprise systems.

·        Prior experience in technologyimplementation or delivery, with sufficient technical depth to engageeffectively with architects, engineers and technology leadership.

·        Strong working knowledge of AIand GenAI concepts and their application within enterprise environments.

·        Experience in assessing,designing or implementing AI-enabled solutions is preferred.

·        Demonstrated ability to conductcurrent-state assessments and develop technology transformationrecommendations.

·        Experience working directlywith senior business and technology stakeholders.

·        Strong analytical,problem-solving and structured thinking capabilities.

·        Excellent written, verbal andpresentation skills.

·        Willingness and ability tooperate across multiple industries, business functions and technologyenvironments.

Client leadership: Strongexecutive presence and the ability to establish credibility, facilitatediscussions and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Commercial orientation: Abilityto recognize emerging client needs and translate them into relevant consultingand technology opportunities.

Preferred attributes

·        Experience in a technologyconsulting, professional services or systems integration environment.

·        Exposure to enterprisetransformation or modernization programmes.

·        Experience working acrossbusiness and technology functions.

·        Demonstrated experience workingwith banks, financial institutions, fintechs or other BFS organizations isrequired.

·        Familiarity with enterprise AIgovernance, security, data privacy and responsible AI considerations.

·        Experience contributing toproposals, RFPs, solution presentations and client pursuits.
