Job Details: Job Location: 1700 EDUCATION AVE - PUNTA GORDA, FL, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $45000.00 - $53000.00Salary/year, Travel Percentage: Negligible, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services, Charlotte Behavioral Health Care is seeking a Technician Shift Supervisor to provide on-site leadership for technicians in our Central Receiving Facility (CRF). This position is part of a team providing leadership across days, nights, and weekends. The supervisor coordinates technician assignments and staffing during the scheduled shift, supports patient safety and observation practices, coaches staff, and helps ensure timely and accurate documentation. The role works closely with the Charge Nurse and reports to the Director of Operations for Crisis Services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct technician assignments based on patient needs, census, and required observation coverage.  Respond to callouts and staffing gaps, coordinating coverage with the other shift supervisors and Director. Supervise, coach, and support technicians; address performance and conduct concerns in partnership with leadership and HR.  Support new hire orientation, unit shadowing, competency checks, and refresher training. Monitor adherence to policies and procedures, including patient rights, observation, admissions and discharges, belongings, documentation, and crisis response.  Partner with Charge Nurse to ensure incidents, grievances, and other documentation receive timely attention and appropriate documentation.  Provide direct technician coverage.BenefitsFull-time Dental, vision, health, and life insurance.  Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Strong communication, sound judgement, and the ability to lead staff calmly and respectfully. Ability to meet applicable background, training, drug screening, and certification requirements.
