Celerity Integrated Services, located in Quakertown, PA, designs, builds, services and maintains fiber optic and wireless infrastructure. We are currently looking for a Fiber Optic Technician Trainee to fill a skilled labor position and begin a career in an ever-growing and evolving industry.

If you enjoy working outdoors with your hands and learning new skills, a career in fiber optic infrastructure may be an excellent fit for you. We are looking for candidates who have a strong work ethic, critical thinking skills and the ability to retain information to take part in our paid training program. Starting salary is $22.00-$23.00 per hour. You would be hired as a full-time employee with benefits. Celerity offers free health insurance to it's full-time employees.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
Must have a current, valid driver's license.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to eventually adhere to a rotating on-call schedule which may include holidays and/or weekends. Overtime and overnight may be required on an as-needed basis.

Physical and Other Requirements:

This position may require overtime, flexible hours, and some weekends. This position requires the ability to lift heavy equipment (75+ pounds), climb poles (with training), crawl into small spaces, and work at heights. The ability to distinguish colors and shades is also required.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to work in an outdoor construction environment including exposure to heavy equipment noise, dust, summer, and winter conditions. Travel is required on an as-needed basis. Candidates must be able to travel and stay overnight when required.
