Power Generation Field Service Technician- Premium Level

Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for an premium level experienced Power Generation Field Service Technician at our location in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. This individual should have years of previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Daimler/Mercedes, Perkins, PSI Engines, Detroit Diesel, Kohler, Cummins, Caterpillar, and Volvo Penta. Joining the service team will provide you with a rewarding work environment, excellent pay and benefits, and an opportunity for advancement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
  • Commitment to safety and cleanliness
  • Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
  • Use low and high voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets
  • Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts
  • Order replacement parts and services in efficient and effective manner  
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to the engine, generator, or components
  • Perform startup and commissioning on large genset units with automatic transfer switches
  • This position requires occasional driving
