Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee badges.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm system operations, troubleshooting, and response protocols.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and performing basic troubleshooting.

• CPR Certification (B205)Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. Allied Universal offers free training for candidates who do not currently hold this certification.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)A background in customer service is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

• Loss Prevention (B210)Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable about theft prevention, inventory control, and safety protocols.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide a welcoming, professional front-desk presence for employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location.
• Verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials; maintain visitor logs; issue access badges according to site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry activity, access-control systems, and security-related communications, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, directing guests to designated areas, and communicating site entry procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
