Job DetailsJob Location: Q Office - Quantico, VA 22134Education Level: Bachelor's Degree*This position is contingent on contract award* Job purpose The HTML Specialist provides HTML5 programming, webpage design, and multimedia integration expertise for DPME courseware, MarineNet delivery, and CDET marketing and outreach products. Duties and responsibilities Provide programming expertise to the DEP SMEs and Instructional Systems Design on graphic strategies to achieve learning outcomes and objectives using HTML 5. Develop interactive HTML 5 files that support instructional validity and technical performance for asynchronous, self-paced delivery via MarineNet. Coordinate with the Marine Corps Imagery Resource Center, TECOM Combat Camera Branch, the World Wide Web (WWW) for imagery and video collection efforts. Provide programming for creating courses and multimedia content for delivery on the MarineNet eLearning Ecosystem. Provide programming for creating multimedia for CDET marketing and outreach programs. Provide programming expertise to course directors in the development of their course material. Provide webpage design and programming expertise to each associate dean. QualificationsQualifications Qualified HTML5 or appropriate legacy certification desired. An Associate's degree and four (4) additional years' experience, may be substituted if the professional lacks a Bachelor's degree.   Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field. Years of Relative Work Experience: Eight (8) years of experience in HTML configuration, administration, and development. Demonstrated experience with HTML, XML, CSS, ASP.NET is required. Familiarity with other collaboration and Web services is desired. Clearance: Minimum Tier 1 background investigation and Government-access eligibility are required; an active Secret clearance is required before supporting classified events or tasks.
