General – Clean Up staff are responsible for the day to day clean up, sanitizing, recycling and disposal of fat/oil to ensure walkways and work areas are safe for all employees.Â
Key Areas of ResponsibilityÂ
- Provide daily cleaning service for assigned areas
- Pick up fat/oil for recycle or disposals.
- Restore organization and cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Wash down equipment and walking surfaces.Â
- Report and communicate spills and releases if and when assistance is needed.
- Assist in snow removal operations.Â
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Formal Education / Certification Requirements – Essential FunctionsÂ
- Complete new hire safety orientation.Â
- High school graduate or GED preferred.Â
- Ability to work independently with little direction.Â
- Communication and information sharing to ensure safe working conditions.Â
- Comfortable working in a dirty work environment
Physical Requirements / Working Environment and ConditionsÂ
- Tasks are performed are exposed to all weather conditions.Â
- Push, pull, lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.Â
- Require the usage of personal protective equipment (PPE) and may take place in confined spaces.Â
- Duties involve frequent walking, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling and carrying objects up to 50lbs.Â
- Climb stairs and ladders to heights of 120 feet.Â
This is a temporary (up to 90 days) to permanent position. Â At the end of the 90 days, candidates may be offered a permanent position.
