The Opportunity
The job of the Production Striping and Plate Coating Technician is to work with various machines to aid in device/ELISA production. The Production Striping and Plate Coating Technician reports directly to the Production Lab Supervisor and or Production Manager.
Key Responsibilities
路 Follow Master Batch Records strictly
路 Manufacture/Package products per approved Master Batch Records
路 Operate equipment/instrumentation as specified in Standard Operating Procedures
路 Perform daily/weekly/monthly cleaning(s) as required per Standard Operating Procedures
路 Document results and completion of tasks on Master Batch Records and TechLab Forms
路 Immediately Report any Non-Conformity to Team Leader/Manager/QA/Supervisor
路 Recommend proposed changes as Document Circulation Requests
路 Work in batching area to mix the reagent/plate solutions needed for the day per the Master Batch Record
路 Weigh chemicals needed per the Master Batch Record
路 Recognize issues with striping and plate coating machines
路 Ensure that all product is labeled correctly
路 Assist with Master Batch Record calculations when necessary
路 Wear proper personal protective equipment
路 Notify Striping and Plate Coating Team Leader/ Production Lab Supervisor and or Production Manager/ Equipment Maintenance when machine issues arise
路 Monitor machine performance
路 Assist in other Manufacturing areas as needed
Qualifications and Experience
Previous Laboratory Bench Work or Machine Operation Preferred.
Basic Computer Literacy
Mechanical Aptitude
High School Diploma or equivalent
Tools and Equipment Used
Microsoft Office Suite
Autoclave
Sealer
Basic lab equipment
Location, Environment, and Work Policy
The job of the Production Striping and Plate Coating Technician involves working in areas with high and low humidity levels. Eye drops, gloves, and other necessary items will be provided for use if necessary. An employee in this position must be able to lift upwards of 40lbs. A typical workweek is Monday through Friday 8:00 to 4:30 or 8:30 to 5:00. Overtime is occasionally necessary with or without advance notice.
