Wake Orthopedics a multi-specialty orthopaedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC is seeking a certified Scheduling Representative to fill a full-time Call Center position, in our Raleigh office location. We offer a unique work environment promoting personal and professional growth. We offer the highest quality care for pediatric and adult patients. Our practices provide a full range of orthopaedic services including advanced diagnostic imaging, innovative treatment options, minimally invasive and traditional procedures, and rehabilitation services. Whether it be recovering from a broken bone, joint replacement surgery, a sports injury or a fracture – our goal is to get patients back to doing the things they love.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, team focused and possess empathy towards patients. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  • Communicate with the patient in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Register patient in EHR including insurance verification.
  • Schedule patient appointments based on provider availability and preference.
  • Answer inbound calls and direct patient’s question to appropriate staff member.
  • Prioritize patient calls based on current policy.
  • Communicate with clinical staff as needed to ensure patient medical questions are answered timely.
  • Document accurately within our EHR, Epic.
  • Other duties will be assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications:

Two years’ experience in medical office is preferred but will train the right candidate.
