Role Overview

The Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will lead enterprise-wide growth initiatives, driving revenue expansion, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships. This executive role requires a hands-on leader who can define and execute growth strategies while actively engaging in deal execution and client development.

This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role with no direct reports at this stage, operating as a player-coach with full ownership of growth outcomes.

This position can be performed hybrid or remote; however, travel to the listed location is required for client visits and key corporate meetings. Preference will be given to candidates based in or near the location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company’s growth strategy, aligned with business objectives and market opportunities

  • Drive new business development, focusing on high-value enterprise clients

  • Own and lead the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, including pipeline generation, deal strategy, negotiation, and closure

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with private equity firms and portfolio companies

  • Identify and develop new markets, strategic partnerships, and service lines to expand revenue streams

  • Collaborate cross-functionally (technology, finance, HR, operations) to deliver tailored solutions

  • Establish and track revenue targets, KPIs, and forecasting accuracy

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to inform growth initiatives

  • Act as a hands-on deal maker, directly contributing to pipeline creation and closure

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in driving growth within professional services, consulting, or technology environments

  • Strong ability to structure, negotiate, and close complex enterprise deals

  • Strategic mindset with execution focus in fast-paced, high-growth environments

  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills

  • Experience working with private equity-backed organizations is highly desirable
