Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in our Pathways Adult Day Program.

In this hands-on role, you'll help individuals build everyday skills, participate in engaging activities, develop relationships, and work toward personal goals. Each day brings opportunities to encourage independence, promote community involvement, and create positive experiences for the people we serve.

What You'll Do

Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe, welcoming environment
Lead activities that encourage independence, socialization, and personal growth
Assist participants in working toward their individual goals
Provide individualized support in both one-on-one and group settings
Maintain accurate daily documentation
Transport participants safely in a 12-15 passenger van as needed

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED
A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach
Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to individual needs
Valid North Carolina driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to complete a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 10-25 pounds
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and remain active throughout the day
