About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about helping preschoolers build confidence, develop friendships, and prepare for kindergarten?
The Learning Experience - Ramsey is hiring a creative, enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team!
We're looking for someone who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences, supporting children's developmental milestones, and building strong relationships with families.
You'll help preschoolers develop early literacy, math, communication, and social-emotional skills through hands-on learning, exploration, and play.
What You'll Do
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate preschool activities
- Teach The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum through hands-on learning experiences
- Support early literacy, math, language, and kindergarten readiness skills
- Encourage independence, creativity, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
- Maintain consistent classroom routines and use positive behavior guidance
- Observe and document children's developmental progress
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and center leadership
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred, but not required
- Previous preschool teaching or professional childcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood development and preschool classroom practices
- Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Creative, patient, dependable, and team-oriented
- Must meet applicable New Jersey childcare licensing, education, and background screening requirements
