Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to join our behavioral health team. This position is based in Rancho Cordova, California and offers flexible working hours with remote or hybrid work options.

The ACSW will provide mental health support, conduct assessments, assist with treatment planning, provide therapy services under supervision, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. This role is ideal for a motivated associate-level clinician who is looking to grow professionally while working in a supportive and flexible environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, or group therapy under appropriate clinical supervision.

• Conduct client assessments and assist in developing treatment plans.

• Provide behavioral health support through telehealth and/or hybrid sessions.

• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with supervisors, care coordinators, and other clinical team members.

• Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed.

• Follow ethical, legal, HIPAA, and clinical documentation standards.

• Participate in supervision, case consultation, and team meetings.

Requirements

• Active ACSW registration in California.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Must be eligible to provide services under clinical supervision.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.

• Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

• Professional, reliable, and client-focused.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mental health, behavioral health, teletherapy, or community-based care.

• Experience working with adults, children, families, or diverse populations.

• Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Prior telehealth experience preferred.
