MEDICAL GROUP ACCOUNTANT

SALARIED POSITION

Rushmore Dermatology, LLP is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly skilled Accountant to join our team. As an established dermatology practice with eight providers, we are looking for a financial professional who can help support our continued growth through accurate financial reporting, sound financial analysis, and effective fiscal management.

We are seeking a proactive individual who enjoys working with financial data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and partnering with leadership to support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, general ledger activities, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
• Assist with financial planning, internal controls, and process improvements.
• Analyze financial trends and provide meaningful insights to practice leadership.
• Support tax preparation, audit coordination, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets, financial models, and reporting tools.
• This position works directly with practice leadership and has responsibility for financial analysis and strategic decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree required, CPA preferred but not required.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, financial analysis, and data management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership and team members.
• Experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems.
• Healthcare or medical practice accounting experience preferred but not required.
