Redding, CAStatus: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pmSalary: $52-$62 based on experience Job Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) – MAT/MOUD Coordinator will provide direct, high-quality patient care in a correctional setting, with a specific focus on supporting inmates enrolled in the Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) programs. This includes conducting thorough assessments, administering MAT/MOUD medications, implementing individualized care plans, and responding to medical emergencies. The RN will collaborate with healthcare teams—including physicians, counselors, and mental health providers—to develop and monitor comprehensive patient care plans aimed at recovery and rehabilitation. In addition to ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards, the Registered Nurse (RN) – MAT/MOUD Coordinator will play a pivotal role in educating patients about MAT/MOUD medications, supporting their medication adherence, and fostering a recovery-focused environment. This role requires maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment while promoting positive patient health outcomes and long-term recovery. Qualifications: A current, valid state(s) licensure, certificate and/or credentials documenting ability to practice in applicable role (RN).  An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field is preferred but not required.  1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional healthcare or similar environment.  Experience in roles that involve direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment is preferred.  Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the correctional setting is an advantage.  Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, adhere to protocols, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, structured environment.  Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved). Employee Benefits (eligibility varies by status): Competitive pay and bonus opportunities Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance Paid portion of maternity leave 401(k) with company match Generous PTO plus paid holidays and floating holidays Tuition reimbursement assistance Employer-paid life insurance, AD&D, short-term disability, and long-term disability coverage Health Savings Account (HSA) and Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) options Employee Assistance Program Free Virtual Continuing Education and professional development opportunitiesMEDIKO is a growing healthcare organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to underserved populations in correctional facilities across the country.
