Position Overview: Work for one of the fastest growing companies in Central Oregon, building state-of-the-art commercial HVAC systems! We are currently hiring Entry-Level Assemblers to support our production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to start their career in manufacturing and gain valuable experience in a dynamic work environment. Work on our fast-paced assembly line rotating between positions like assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing, and wrapping. LEAD-Unit Assembly (A-Shift Mon-Thurs 6am-4:30pm)

Job Description: 

Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, such as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.

  • Keep records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
  • Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
  • Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, or fabricators.
  • Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures or assign employee training to experienced workers.
  • Making Decisions and Solving Problems
  • Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
  • Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Material
  • Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings
  • Guiding, Directing, and Motivating Subordinates
  • Coaching and Developing Others
  • Advise others on ways to improve processes or products.
  • Confer with others to resolve production problems or equipment malfunctions.
  • Enforce rules or regulations.
  • Inspect production equipment.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Active listening skills
  • Critical thinking
  • Able to work independently

Labor Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods throughout your shift.
  • Ability and willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) specific to each work area.
  • Capacity to work in a manufacturing environment that may include:
    •  Extreme temperatures (both hot and cold),
    • Tight Spaces
      • Loud noise levels,
      • Dust and chemical fumes,
      • Sharp metal objects, and
      • Heavy forklift traffic
