Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Communications in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with guests and team members while responding to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a bowling and amusement venue.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, gaming and activity areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, disruptive conduct, and other security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and policy violations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
