Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join the team in Reno, NV . What Will You Do? Role: Supervises the daily activities of a production area to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved.

Responsibilities

Main Job Duties

Mentor and coach team members while maintaining high standards of conduct and leadership.
Ensure employees are properly trained, cross-trained, and equipped to succeed in their roles.
Collaborate with Line Leads and other supervisors to ensure production lines and processes run efficiently and in alignment with the Legrand Way.
Direct daily work schedules, monitor staffing levels, and adjust resources as needed.
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain effective communication and collaboration with other departments, including Quality and Engineering, to resolve issues and support training.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S practices, and company policies.
Monitor production output and ensure adherence to budgetary requirements, including scrap and tooling usage.
Evaluate performance, deliver feedback, administer performance appraisals, and make recommendations for merit increases or disciplinary actions when needed.
Support hiring, onboarding, and development of employees within the department.
Maintain accurate and timely reporting and documentation of production activities.
Participate in overtime rotation, provide coverage for other shifts as required, and support multiple departments as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required a plus.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
Previous experience as a Production Coordinator, Team Lead, or similar role strongly preferred.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, travelers, and electrical diagrams
