The Project Executive leads and manages a business unit responsible for profit and loss aligned with overall company business plan. The Project Executive role has overall accountability for insuring construction projects are performed in a safe and effective manner. This role is fully responsible for cultivating and securing opportunities for future projects by providing excellent customer service, injury free environment by ensuring safe work practices, maintaining quality assurance, and building financially successful projects that are driven by company directives. The Project Executive typically oversees 25+ millions in annual revenue volume depending on types of markets; with Senior Project Managers and Project Mangers reporting to them as well as administrative staff.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Senior leadership experience in construction project delivery, including full P&L responsibility for a business unit managing $25M+ in annual revenue and multiple concurrent projects.
- Extensive electrical construction or specialty contracting experience, with strong knowledge of estimating, procurement, contract administration, scheduling, and cost forecasting in a competitive market.
- Proven people leadership and talent development capability, including recruiting, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning for senior project managers and project teams.
- Advanced financial and business acumen, demonstrated ability to drive profitability through accurate forecasting, budget control, risk management, and strategic business planning.
- Expertise in safety, quality, and compliance leadership, with a strong track record of promoting injury-free environments, enforcing safe work practices, and upholding organizational standards.
- Exceptional client relationship and communication skills, including managing customer expectations, resolving claims and disputes, and maintaining professional, trust-based partnerships with clients and trade partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and substantial industry experience; advanced certifications or leadership training preferred.
Salary range for this position is $170,000-$225,000 annually.
Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.
