Job Description :

Job Purpose

A Respiratory Therapy Clinical Educator trains RT staff on new research, procedures, equipment, and best practices for respiratory care, developing programs, assessing skills, mentoring, and ensuring high standards of patient care.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Respiratory Care or Related Field, preferred
     

Licenses and/or Certifications:

  • Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by state of Texas.
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, American Academy of Pediatrics
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience:

  • 3 years clinical experience required
