Overview

St. Joseph's Villa is currently seeking Licensed Professional Counselors and Clinical Social Workers to provide direct clinical care services to our clients' specific needs according to their Individualized Treatment Plans. The Clinician will work within our Crisis Stabilization Unit or 23-Hour Crisis Receiving Center with adolescents ages 5-17.

Responsibilities

Clinician Responsibilities:

  • Provides emergency screening of clients referred by the Community Service Boards (CSB) in need of crisis stabilization services
  • Conducts individual, group and family therapy as identified in client’s treatment plan
  • Implements and monitors a comprehensive stabilization and rapid discharge plan for each client
  • Meets with family members and relevant agencies to advise on clients’ progress and teach them techniques to continue behavioral changes outside the supported setting
  • Designs appropriate interventions for each client.
  • Ensures staff is trained in selected intervention techniques and therapeutic services are implemented in a coordinated manner
  • Maintains all appropriate client service documentation from referral through discharge and aftercare
  • Assumes regular on-call responsibilities

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Clinician I: Master's degree in human service related field.
  • Clinician II: Eligibility for LPC or LCSW licensure required.
  • Clinician III: Fully licensed as LPC or LCSW preferred
