This role is critical in minimizing downtime, enhancing productivity, and maintaining safety standards by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machines. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency. - Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective repair solutions. - Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations. - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. - Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment. - Provide technical support and training to machine operators to enhance their understanding of equipment functionality. - Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to maintenance procedures and practices. - Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize production downtime.QualificationsRequired Education: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Vocational training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred. Required Experience: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment. - Proven track record of diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. - Experience with preventive maintenance programs and practices. - Familiarity with using diagnostic tools and equipment for maintenance tasks. Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. - Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues efficiently. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills for reporting and documentation purposes. - Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
