Receiving Specialist

The Receiving Specialist receives and verifies incoming purchase orders using automated

system(s); research packages that don’t have purchase orders in a timely manner; and

keeps records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

• General maintenance, including cleaning, organizing, and securing inventory

• Load and wrap items utilizing pallet jackets

• Delivers items to end users (internal customers)

• Verifies accuracy of deliveries

• Verifies PO and receipt accuracy in MMIS

• Loading and unloading deliveries

Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Computer or hand-held knowledge required.

• Ability to read, write and give effective communication to customers.

• 1 year warehouse or supply chain experience preferred.

• May have periods of constant interruptions.
