Randall isseeking an experienced Electrical Designer / Detailer (BIM) to supportlarge commercial construction projects from our headquarters in Apopka, FL.This role is responsible for electrical system layout, BIM modeling, and theproduction of coordinated, construction-ready drawings that support successful prefabricationand field execution. The ideal candidate combines technical electricalknowledge with strong BIM skills and thrives in a collaborative projectenvironment. 

PositionSummary

This fully in-office position is responsible for takingClient / General Contractor provided drawings and creating flawless drawings ofelectrical systems and layouts.  You willprovide overall clash detection and create spool drawings for theprefabrication of large sections of the electrical systems to be installed onlarge-scale commercial new construction job sites.

Essential Functions

• Design and detail electrical systemsusing Autodesk Revit for large commercial projects
  
• Develop coordinated BIM models, layoutdrawings, and electrical shop drawings for our Prefabrication Shop inaccordance with NEC and local code requirements
  
• Perform electrical system layouts forpower, lighting, and related systems based on contract documents and projectrequirements
  
• Coordinate electrical designs witharchitectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection trades
  
• Participate in BIM coordinationmeetings and resolve clashes using tools such as Navisworks
  
• Support constructability reviews,prefabrication efforts, and installation sequencing
  
• Maintain model and drawing accuracythroughout the construction lifecycle, including revisions from RFIs and fieldchanges
  
• Ensure compliance with projectspecifications, NEC requirements, and local codes
  
• Communicate effectively with projectmanagers, engineers, and field leadership
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer and/or Electrical BIMDetailer on commercial construction projects
  
• High proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical)
  
• Complete understanding of NEC and an ability to quickly assess,confirm, and incorporate local electrical codes
  
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and installationpractices
  
• Ability to interpret electrical plans, specifications, and constructiondocuments
  
• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection workflows
  
• Experience with large-scale commercial, healthcare, industrial, ormission-critical projects
  
• Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
  
• Knowledge of electrical prefabrication and modular construction workflowswill be a high plus
  
• Field experience or strong constructability awareness will be a plus
  
• Exhibit strong business acumen, skillsand maturity and the ability to work effectively with others even understressful deadlines situations.
  
• Highly developed organizational andplanning skills, time management skills and written/oral communications skills.
  
• Ability to think critically and drawfrom several resources (and interact with all levels of staff).
  

PhysicalRequirements

This is primarily an office position and, as such, you mustbe able to sit up to six or more hours in aneight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequentlyduring the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during theday. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, andlift as required by the job.
