Job DetailsJob Location: Riverside, CA 92504Salary Range: $68,000.00 - $150,000.00 CommissionService Advisor Position Summary The Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between customers and the Service Department, ensuring an exceptional service experience from vehicle check-in through delivery. This position is responsible for accurately identifying customer concerns, recommending necessary maintenance and repair services, coordinating communication between customers and technicians, and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Greet customers promptly and provide professional, courteous service throughout the repair process. Listen to customer concerns, perform vehicle walk-around inspections, and accurately prepare repair orders. Verify warranty coverage, recalls, maintenance plans, and service contracts before initiating repairs. Explain recommended repairs, maintenance services, estimated costs, and completion times, and obtain customer authorization. Serve as the primary liaison between customers, technicians, and the Parts Department to ensure efficient communication and timely repairs. Monitor repair progress, communicate updates, delays, and additional repair needs to customers, and ensure all work is properly documented. Review completed repairs with customers, ensure satisfaction, and promptly address any concerns or complaints. Maintain accurate repair order documentation in compliance with dealership, manufacturer, and warranty requirements. Follow all Company policies, safety standards, and applicable laws while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous automotive service advising experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management software. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug screening, where applicable.
