Overview

John C. Cassidy Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking an HVAC Installer – Piping to install and assemble HVAC piping systems. This position focuses primarily on refrigerant piping, with some chilled water and cooling tower piping. The ideal candidate will ensure all work meets design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

What You'll Do

Install HVAC piping systems, primarily refrigerant piping, with some chilled water and cooling tower piping.
Measure, cut, bend, braze, and assemble copper and PVC piping.
Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to complete accurate installations.
Pressure test piping systems and repair leaks as needed.
Install and connect HVAC equipment, including chillers, air handlers, pumps, and condensers.
Work with project managers and other trades to complete projects safely and on schedule.
Maintain clean job sites and follow all company safety standards.

What You'll Bring

3–5 years of HVAC installation experience with a strong piping background.
EPA Universal Certification (required).
OSHA 10/30 and brazing or welding certifications are a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various jobsite conditions.
Valid driver's license.
