About the Role:
Join the team at Grace Senior Liviing in Rochester Hills, MI, where a clean and welcoming environment is at the heart of everything we do! We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping team member who takes pride in their work and helps create a comfortable, spotless space for guests and residents alike.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned rooms, common areas, and facilities to established standards
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the property
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
- Manage housekeeping cart and inventory of cleaning supplies efficiently
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and infection control protocols
- Respond to resident requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Assist with laundry
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or varying shifts as needed
