Compensation Range:

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Performs a variety of technical assignments for the Department of Anesthesiology exercising a high degree of skill, judgment and knowledge of the terminology, common procedures and practices of the assigned area. Performs set-up of medications and supplies in both the work room and mobile carts, and anesthesia equipment set-up and trouble shooting. Position has occasional patient contact.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Prepares and places anesthesia equipment and supplies in operating room prior to arrival of patient, based on case variables such as patient age, case type and length.
- Ensures cleanliness of anesthesia equipment and availability of specialized anesthesia supplies required for cases in designated operating rooms.
- Performs moderate to advanced equipment set-up, calibration, operation and trouble shooting.
- Functions as a resource for Anesthesiology providers.
- Participates in Cell Saver and Liver Transplant Programs, including on-call procedure.
- Performs set-up and support of ectopic procedures for anesthesia care, ensuring proper equipment is in place for out of OR procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree which included technical training closely related to this position required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
