Assistant Toddler Teacher

At Heartfelt Impressions Learning Centers, we believe the toddler years are filled with exciting opportunities for growth, discovery, and learning. We are actively seeking caring, energetic and reliable Assistant Toddler teachers to support a safe and engaging classroom environment where children are encouraged to explore. Working alongside the Lead teacher, you will help implement age-appropriate learning activities utilizing the High Scope curriculum.

POSITION Details

• Regular, full-time
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hour day shifts
• Pay range $15-$18 per hour (based on certification or degree plus years of experience in early childhood education)
• Location: Onsite, Clarkston, MI and Rochester, MI
• Desired start date: ASAP
• Please note this position does not qualify for US Visa sponsorship or relocation

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with Toddlers in the classroom setting is preferred  
• Reliable transportation
• Consent to Background screening including fingerprinting
• Prior experience with High Scope Curriculum a plus
• Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or working toward a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
• CPR certification is required for all teaching staff, must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• You must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
