Your role
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machines to load and unload parts.
- Change tools as required during the production process.
- Perform measurement checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Use inspection equipment to verify product quality.
- Adhere to internal safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude in a team environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Preferred: Proficient in CNC machine operation (no programming required).
- Familiarity with inspection equipment.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to use calculators and computers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints with an understanding of geometric tolerances.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Adherence to safety standards and company policies.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Minimum of two years of CNC machine operation experience.
- Familiarity with Makino or Kitamura CNC machines preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing while operating machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Visual acuity for part inspection and reading measurements.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment with required eye and hearing protection.
- Exposure to noise and moving machinery.
