Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• HVACengineering design responsibilities (calculating heating/cooling loads, selectequipment, layout duct/piping, create/edit project details and write/editproject engineering specifications)
  
• Plumbingsystems design (calculating capacities/loads, laying/piping systems and detailsand editing project specifications)
  
• Participatein design review meetings/workshops
  
• Usetechnical expertise to research/resolve design issues
  
• Coordinatewith architectural/engineering disciplines
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’sdegree in Mechanical Engineer or Architectural Engineering
  
• 8+years of consulting engineering experience with an emphasis on HVAC/plumbingdesign
  
• Experienceworking on healthcarefacilities projects
  
• PELicense
  
• Knowledgeof building controls preferred
  
• Experiencewith Revit, BIM, Trane/Trace, IES and Microsoft Office
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
