Land Surveyor in Training

We’re looking for a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) who brings energy, a strong work ethic, and a passion for precision. If you’re ready to launch your career alongside a team that’s as committed to quality as they are to your growth, this is your next step.


What You'll Do:


· Assist in conducting boundary, topographic, construction, and route surveys

· Operate GPS, robotic total stations, levels, and data collectors in the field

· Support field crews with setups, measurements, and site documentation

· Analyze field data and draft survey maps and reports using CAD and GIS tools

· Work under the supervision of licensed surveyors to complete diverse surveying projects

· Collaborate with engineers, planners, and clients to deliver high-accuracy results

· Ensure field safety, equipment care, and data integrity in every environment

What You Bring:


· Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field

· Land Surveyor-in-Training (LSIT) certification

· Familiarity with surveying equipment (GPS, total stations, levels) and CAD software

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

· Willingness to work in the field (sometimes in remote or rugged terrain)

· A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to take feedback like a champ

· Bonus if you’ve done an internship or co-op—real-world experience always helps!

· Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
