Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: Hilltop Branch - Rock Island, IL, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: HS Diploma/GED or willing to obtain, Salary Range: $17.50 - $18.00Hourly, Job Shift: Weekdays + Rotating Saturday Mornings, Job Category: Retail, As a Teller, you will help customers with their everyday banking, build relationships, keep things accurate and secure, and have a little fun along the way. If you are friendly, dependable, and enjoy being part of a team, come grow with us!Every day is a little different, but you can expect to: Welcome customers with a smile and provide exceptional service Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and other transactions accurately Prepare cashier's checks and issue receipts Balance your cash drawer and assist with vault balancing Answer customer questions and branch phone calls Build relationships and connect customers with products and services that fit their needs Support teammates and contribute to a positive branch culture Follow security procedures and maintain customer confidentiality Occasionally assist at other branch locations as needed : Knowledge/Skills/Abilities  Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  Thorough understanding of customer service and Bank products/services.  Ability to remain friendly and calm in stressful situations.  Above average knowledge of fundamental mathematics.  Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications  High school diploma or recognized equivalent required.  1+ years of customer service experience preferred.  Experience in retail sales preferred.  Experience in a professional financial environment is preferred.  Cash handling and transactional experience preferred.  Bi-lingual preferred.  Equipment/Software  Ability to operate general office equipment, banking equipment, and banking systems.  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.  Physical Requirements The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work is performed mainly in an office setting.
