HVAC Install Helper

Job Title:  HVAC Install Assistant

Reports to: HVAC Manager

Work Hours: Monday thru Friday with rotating weekends

Pay Scale: $20.00/hour

Position Summary:

The HVAC Install Assistant position includes performing duties for various trades including heating, cooling, and indoor air quality. Duties may also include general sheet metal labor at our facilities. This position is the first step in transitioning to a technician position in the field best suited for each individual.
 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the above-mentioned trades
• Follow direction from lead technician to complete jobs in a safe and timely fashion
• Transport equipment and materials to job site
• Assist with installation of new equipment on job site
• Work with various tools, machinery and supplies efficiently
• Detail oriented when given tasks by lead technicians
• Listening and communication skills are imperative to perform these tasks effectively
• Available for late night and/or weekend jobs as needed
• Mechanically inclined
• Customer Service skills
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Trade School coursework or training in a skilled trade preferred (completion not required)
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to climb extension ladders to access rooftops
• Experience work in the trades a plus
• Willingness to learn, attend classes for professional development
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Willingness and ability to work weekends
