Job Description

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking to build a rewarding career in a specialized outpatient setting? At The Hale Hand Center, you'll join a highly respected team dedicated to helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life through expert hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

What You'll Do:

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve their functional goals by:

  • Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Fabricating and fitting custom splints based on patient diagnoses
  • Providing evidence-based interventions to improve upper extremity function and independence in daily activities
  • Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans as needed
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current state of Florida license
  • CPR certification
  • Outgoing, compassionate, and patient-focused personality
  • A strong desire to learn and grow in a specialty practice
