Compensation & Benefits
- $25 to $45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during dental procedures and provide exceptional chairside support.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments, materials, and equipment are ready for patient care.
- Take dental radiographs in accordance with California regulations and licensure requirements.
- Take digital impressions and scans.
- Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, implant, Invisalign, and other dental procedures.
- Perform coronal polishing and expanded functions within the scope of licensure.
- Maintain proper sterilization protocols, infection control procedures, and OSHA standards.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain instruments, equipment, and operatories.
- Provide patients with clear and compassionate pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.
- Perform periodontal charting and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Support efficient patient flow and help keep the clinical schedule running smoothly.
- Anticipate the doctor's needs and remain proactive throughout procedures.
- Collaborate closely with the doctor and team members to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
- Assist with additional duties as needed within the scope of licensure and California regulations.
Qualifications
Required
- Current California RDA or RDAEF license
- Radiology/X-ray certification
- Knowledge and experience using Open Dental
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, infection control, and sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, organized, and dependable work ethic
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a busy clinical environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Preferred
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience
- EFDA certification
- Coronal polishing certification
- Experience with digital scanning and restorative procedures
Recent Graduates
Recent graduates may be considered; however, candidates with prior dental assisting experience are preferred.
