About Rockville Correctional Facility:Â Â
Rockville Correctional Facility is a maximum‑security institution located in Rockville, Indiana, housing more than 1,200 incarcerated adult females. It also functions as the intake unit for all women entering the Indiana Department of Correction. The facility provides assessments to identify appropriate placement and programming for each individual. Educational and vocational opportunities include cosmetology, parenting support, and a long‑standing partnership with Televerde that offers pre‑ and post‑release employment pathways. Staff maintain a structured environment focused on safety, growth, and re‑entry preparation. The campus supports a wide range of rehabilitative programming. Salary:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $42,900.00 but may be commensurate with education and work experience. Use our Compensation Calculator to view the total compensation package.

A Day in the Life:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:Â
- Research and compile information on specific aspects of the program such as procedures, needs and policiesÂ
- Answer basic customer questions about program policies and procedures.Â
- Establish, organize, and maintain current and historical files related to the program.Â
- Collect information to help in the preparation of program reports, develop applications, prepare budget allocations and/or purchasing of consultative services.Â
- Maintain, organize, and monitor program assets.Â
- Schedule, prepare, and disseminate all program related training materials.Â

What You'll Need for Success:
Individuals in this role should minimally be able to articulate or demonstrate the following:
- General knowledge of the program area.Â
- Working knowledge of applicable legislation, guidelines, agency policy and professional standards and practices.Â
- Ability to research and compile specific topics related to program area.Â
- Ability to communicate effectively.Â
- Ability to operate effectively in a group decision-making process.Â
- Ability to use tact in dealing with other agency personnel and the public.Â
- Ability to establish a working-relationship with staff and offenders.
