SUMMARY:
The Project Accountant performs a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and processing of project cost and payment records, including providing overall support to operations staff with financial details.  Â

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Â Â
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent years of relevant experienceÂ
Two (2) to four (4) years of Accounting experienceÂ
Public accounting experience preferred Â
Construction industry experience a plusÂ
Decision making, research and analytical problem-solving skillsÂ
Time management skills with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demandsÂ
Ability to work independentlyÂ
CMiC software experience a plus Â
Able to quickly learn and understand new software and systemsÂ
Â
TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE:Â
Independently updates existing account reconciliation and analysis templates (over / under billing, closeout reports, negative cash, prepaids, accruals)Â
Efficiently produces work deliverables in CMiCÂ
Applies general knowledge of GAAP developed through education or experience to correctly record accruals, prepaids, over / under billing adjustmentsÂ
Reviews, validates, and analyzes CMiC reporting (PSRs / Invoices to be posted, expense reimbursements, GL account balances)Â
Creates accurate schedules and submits to ManagementÂ
Applies general knowledge of excel to update recurring or ad hoc excel schedulesÂ

The base salary (or hourly) range for this position is
$75,000.00 - $95,000.00DAVIS is committed to providing our employees with a competitive total compensation package that enhances your quality of life.
