SUMMARY:
The Senior Estimating Manager is responsible for leading the overall management of the bid process for a project. This role is responsible for understanding the deliverables, developing a work plan, and identifying resources required, while coordinating with internal teams to ensure compliance with the Request for Proposals (RFP).Â

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Â Â
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture or related field or equivalent relevant experienceÂ
A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in estimating for commercial construction, minimum of two (2) years managing Estimators
Experience leading the bidding process for multiple complex projectsÂ
Experience with a variety of building typesÂ
Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering and construction management, including safety, quality, constructability and sustainability standardsÂ
Leadership level communication and organization skillsÂ

Leads bid assembly on large, complex pursuitsÂ
Applies deep understanding of complex trades such as division 2, 15 and 16 to the estimating processÂ
Maintains trade partner / supplier relationships; leverages trade partner and supplier relationships to inform business decisions Â
Utilizes knowledge of historical data from estimates / bids to use externally and for internal bid reviews Â
Utilizes lessons learned from the trade partner buyout process to improve business practices and minimize risk Â
Leads project meetings and client presentations Â
Provides oversight and guidance to Engineers / Sr Engineers / Estimating Managers (i.e. risk management, value engineering, constructability, general process, scoping and pricing feedback) Â
Conducts performance reviews for junior staffÂ

The base salary (or hourly) range for this position is
$130,000.00 - $175,000.00DAVIS is committed to providing our employees with a competitive total compensation package that enhances your quality of life.
