Description

McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Attorney to join its team in our Roseland office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys managing civil litigation matters while working in a collaborate, team-oriented environment. 


The successful candidate will have strong experience with municipal and government law specifically in the areas of redevelopment, long-term tax exemption, labor and employment a plus. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow while supporting our senior attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including research, drafting pleadings and other legal documents, handling all phases of discovery, depositions, preparing matters for trial and attending court conferences.

Salary Range: $130-$170k. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and overall work background. 

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active New Jersey law license in good standing
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to independently manage active litigation caseloads
  • Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
