About the Role
Join a busy commercial real estate team at an established New Jersey law firm. You will support sophisticated transactional work for developers, property owners, investors, and lenders, working closely with practice leaders and managing matters with minimal oversight.
What You'll Do
Order and review title commitments and surveys, and help resolve title objections.
Prepare closing documents, maintain closing checklists, and coordinate funds flow for commercial acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing transactions.
Manage due diligence, entity documents, and estoppels across multiple active matters.
Coordinate post-closing recordings, filings, and follow-up items.
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and title companies.
What We're Looking For
Five to fifteen years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, including recent, continuous transactional experience in New Jersey.
Law firm experience with hands-on title, survey, and commercial closing work, including the ability to manage closings through post-closing independently.
Experience beyond residential real estate closings, with a strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions.
Experience in both transactional real estate and land use work.
Stable employment history, strong attention to detail, and polished written communication.
Ability to work in the office five days per week and eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $100,000 to $130,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
On-site, five days per week in Roseland, New Jersey, United States.
